Earl Grey of Chimay, we would like to thank you so much for giving an interview to the official Blackmore's Night French fan club. Thank you Fabrice and the Blackmore's Night French Fan Club for this interview! To start with, could you please tell us about your musical career before joining Blackmore's Night? My parents subjected me to work in the circus for much of my younger years. It was there where I discovered the aesthetics of the pen and scribed my first oratorio "Janna Lee". Soon thereafter, I followed a path in various music outfits for several years until 2005, where I devoted three years of my life to studying the invasive effects of Acer Rubrum and its ecological impact in the Northern Yukon. How did you meet Candice & Ritchie and how did you get to join Blackmore's Night? We were introduced by mutual friend J. Andrew Colletti. (Check out his upcoming film "Pray For Light" starring Candice Night at www.firesatmidnightfilms.com . In our first meeting, Candice and Ritchie had asked about my thoughts on the films of Tod Browning, to which I replied, "It was a bloody travesty that they banned his 1932 film "Freaks" in England for so long." They both nodded to each other and simultaneously announced, "He's in." Ritchie is known for being very demanding towards his own music and fellow musicians. Now that you work with him, can you tell us more about this ? He is very demanding. He demands that I come to every scheduled practice (on time, nonetheless) and that it is imperative that I bring my instruments. It is also demanded of me that I learn all the songs in the set list too. Could you depict a typical day while on tour? Sure. The Secret Voyage album is made of a variety of melodies, what is your favourite one? It's hard to pick just one, so I'll just name a few of my favourites: God Save The Keg, Locked Within The Crystal Ball, Gilded Cage, Toast To Tomorrow, Prince Waldeck's Galliard, Rainbow Eyes, The Circle, Sister Gypsy, Can't Help Falling In Love, Peasant's Promise, Far Far Away, and Empty Words. You play guitar as well as bass guitar, do you practice other instruments? Maybe medieval ones? I do; I also practice both medieval guitar and medieval bass too. Do you have solo projects and what kind of music do you like? Have you already recorded your own personal pieces of music? I have a solo project that consists entirely of music played with the guitar behind my head. I only like the music of "Spike Jones and the City Slickers." Nothing else. Although I've only recorded some of them, it is said that I have written about seven hundred songs. What are your hobbies? Trespassing, knitting, and shooting rifles. You are starting again a European tour, do you think European and American fans are different? There are subtle differences between the two. European fans run on 220 volts and usually have two settings (high and low). American fans are either battery powered, or run on 110 volts, with three settings (high, medium, and low). Regardless of the type, they are both great ways to stay cool on stage. Do you have a message for your French fans who hope to see you soon again in their country? Si six scies scient six cyprЁЁs, six cents scies scient six cent cyprЁЁs. Have you ever come to France and what do you like best about France? I have unfortunately never been to France, but I do look forward to seeing it one day. The thing I like best about France is that they gave the United States the Statue of Liberty. Without the Statue of Liberty, my great grandfather would have never found America. Thanks again for taking the time to answer these questions, this is much appreciated. Thank you Fabrice and the Blackmore's Night French Fan Club!
European fans run on 220 volts and usually have two settings (high and low). American fans are either battery powered, or run on 110 volts, with three settings (high, medium, and low).

raintower: Ааааааааааааааааааааааа!

Jam Bluse:

Jam Bluse: netivot

Jam Bluse: netivot

Lord Raiden: netivot,
